Sasha Carroll, Founder & Community Director

In 2019, Sasha embarked on a journey that carried her from the UK to Singapore. With her career centered largely in the world of HR and tech consulting, she fell pregnant with her son in 2022. Her postpartum experience in Singapore inspired her to develop wellbub. Her struggles finding the right help with breastfeeding and finding an exciting social scene with her little one led her to develop wellbub as it is today. Witnessing the gap between parents looking for support and the rapidly expanding world of service providers, she felt a strong calling to bridge that divide and to provide more opportunities for new parents to connect and have fun.

Sasha's journey has had its ups and downs. Before the joyful arrival of her son Ronan in 2022, she navigated the challenging road of pregnancy loss. This experience ignited a fervor within her to foster open conversations about mental well-being throughout the journey of pregnancy and well beyond. In late 2023, shortly after the launch of wellbub, she lost her son Rory at 5 months pregnant. This experience has inspired her to create even more opportunities for mums to connect and support each other through the challenges of motherhood and loss. No one should navigate the journey of grief alone.

A Vision 

The wellbub vision is simple - to enable the parents of Singapore to find community, support and connection. We want parents to find the support they need and to find their own community. We believe in creating amazing opportunities for connection, because we all deserve it.
